Hyderabad and Secunderabad are twin cities, seperated by Hussain Sagar, which is a man made lake. Hyderabad occupies a unique position on the map of India, with its confluence of cultures and traditions. The city is nearly 400 years old and is famous for its natural beauty, mosques and minarets, bazaars and bridges, rings in the name of the city Sounds of vibrancy of minarets and modern high - rise buildings.

 


Itinerary


Day 1

Hyderabad
Arrive Hyderabad and transfer to Hotel. Visit Birla Mandir, a magnificent Hindu temple of Lord Venkateshwara which took 10 years time to built . It is built entirely in white marble by the Birla Foundation. Overnight at hotel.

 
Day 2 Hyderabad
After breakfast leave for a tour of Charminar which was built by Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah in 1591. The majestic architectural monument was built to commemorate the eradication of plague from Hyderabad. Visit the Salarjung Museum which has the largest collection of antiques in the world. Also view the Golkonda Fort , Mecca Masjid, Nehru Zoological Park. Overnight at hotel.

 
Day 3 Hyderabad Vijaywada (280 Km / 5 hours approx.)
After breakfast depart for Vijayawada. On arrival have darshan at Kanakdurga temple, situated on the Indrakiladri hill. The idol of the deity is said to be Swayambhu or self-manifested. It is said that Adi Shankaracharya visited the temple and installed the Sri Chakra here. Overnight at hotel.

 
Day 4 Vijaywada - Vizag (400 Km / 8 hrs)
After breakfast depart for Vizag. On arrival check into hotel. Take a stroll on the Marine drive. Overnight at hotel.

 
Day 5 Vizag Araku Vizag (120 Km / 2 hrs approx)
After breakfast drive to Araku. Full day tour followed by a visit to Borra Caves, a million year old cave situated at 1400 mts above sea level. Return to Vizag in the evening . Overnight at hotel.

 
Day 6 Vizag - Kolkata
After breakfast leave for sightseeing tour of Kailasagiri, the most beautiful place in Vizag. Visit Dolphin's Nose which has a shape of a Dolphin's nose and situated on a height of 357 meters. Also visit the Ramakrishna Beach, Fishing Harbour, Rushikonda and the Submarine Museum. In the evening transfer to station / airport to take your return train / flight.
